About

👋 Hi there!

I am Maya Eapen, a hybrid Visual/UX designer working at IBM design studios, Germany. I got my BFA from Parsons School of Design, New York.
Before IBM, I worked at The United Nations, Grey Global and other start-ups in New York City.

I love typography, creating symbolic and conceptual illustrations and rapid prototyping. I enjoy thinking of and sketching out unique solutions to complex design problems as well as staying creative within the constraints of a design system.

I was interviewed for an article on Aiga Eye On Design, ‘How Do You Get Into Tech? Recent Graduates Talk About The Portfolios That Got Them Jobs‘. My work is also the cover art for the article!

My team at IBM also won the prestigious iF award for one of our key experiences in the category Product UX.

My paintings were displayed at The Holy Art Gallery in London for the exhibition ‘Arches’
